Reading is LIT!

LITerature Circles are a place for students to apply reading and writing skills that are structured around student roles. Often this leads to a whole class reading the same novel at the same time. In this session, I'll share my experience in trying something new! This year I assigned different books to all of my students based on student interest or level . I'll share how I set up LIT Groups and what I've used in my classroom to manage them. I will also have student work samples, fun videos, resources to share, and feedback from students on their experience. We'll open the end up for a Q&A to discuss what others have tried, what is working in other classrooms, and how we might implement some new ideas and try something new!

I can't wait to share how I reignited students passion for reading in my own classroom.
