I have been practicing as an Occupational Therapist for 37 years, 30 of which has been in the school system working with a variety of special needs students. I have a passion for working with and alongside of teachers, support staff, students, parents and the community with building functional skills, independence, confidence and success with people who present with difficulties learning and performing tasks. I enjoy "thinking out of the box" and using everyday materials and activities in a fun way for building various hand skills needed for participation in the school environment . This is my 3rd year as a LTISD OT . I have 3 grown children, 2 grandchildren (with one on the way) and a very patient and loving husband. When not working, I love all types of sports, crafts, games, playing pranks, and spending time with family and friends.
